Aleta Planet partners Nestia to launch UnionPay virtual debit card for payments in Singapore, China and 39 other markets
• Over 600,000 Nestia users to benefit from using Aleta Planet Nestia Virtual Card

Singapore, 17 September 2020 – Singapore fintech Aleta Planet said today it is partnering Nestia, a popular all-in-one lifestyle app, to launch a co-branded virtual debit card that will allow over 600,000 registered members of Nestia to make payments.
The virtual card, powered by Aleta Planet’s proprietary technology, leverages on UnionPay’s global network. The integration with Nestia app allow users to make UnionPay QR Code payments, both offline and online, at over 30 million merchants in Singapore, China and 39 other markets around the world.
They will also benefit from exclusive UnionPay rewards and promotions such as $5 off a minimum $10 spend at HeyTea (now until 31 October 2020) and $15 off with a minimum spend of $150 at Haidilao (now until 17 November 2020).
In addition, users will also have access to the recently launched UnionPay-Aleta Planet MoneyExpress remittance service, enabling them to transfer money quickly and safely.
The collaboration is significant for Nestia as it gives users access to a wider range of merchants, allowing them to make payments across multiple touchpoints and transforming the app from a closed-loop platform to an open-loop network.
